Project Soli Deo Gloria in Aldeia, Brazil
the Missions Banner, December 2024
As we close out this year, we find ourselves in a world marked by uncertainties—from ongoing political corruption in the upside-down world of Brazil to the chaos of presidents who support abortion. Some experts predict for the next decades unrest and turmoil in a deglobalizing world. In the face of these epic struggles, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed yet we find comfort in the truth that our God reigns over all. We are called to be faithful.
We hold fast to the reality that our King is not only sovereign but also Emmanuel—God with us—bringing salvation to a world in desperate need of the Gospel full of hope and truth. The cosmic forces of evil remain in conflict with the Holy Spirit, but we are assured of the victory Christ has already won in the resurrection. This assurance, rooted in grace, calls us to stand fast on the rock which is Christ.
Thank you, dear friends, for standing with us in prayer, fellowship, and generosity especially over these months of furlough we had for the summer months. I made a request to some brothers and local churches sharing our financial need for the year 2024. God’s people answered in an amazing way, and we are looking to peacefully make all bills and payments through 2024. Soli Deo Gloria! Thank you for being the hands of Christ and pray for us that we may work and proclaim boldly the Gospel and continue to “disciple the nations” for His glory.
With gratitude and love,
Doug, Leah, Darius, Zayin, Titus, Solomon, Lukas, Roman and Silas
