  • The pending moves of a few within the congregation.

Myanmar Mission

November 2024

Thanking God for:

  • His provision—In spite of the political and economic crisis we are experiencing, God has protected us and the orphanage children.  He has provided all our needs. God is so good all the time.
  • The pastor’s wife’s health condition—This year, it is a joy to see her improving health.  Even though she is not completely recovered yet, she is quite ok now.  We thank God for His grace and mercy. Thank you all for your unceasing prayer for her.
  • The church—God helps our church stay strong and keep growing in spite of the difficult circumstances. We thank God that we have new visitors almost every Sunday.

Please Pray for:

  • The young people—Many of the young people who try to avoid the mandatory military service have been blocked from the airport, and they are no longer allowed to go abroad as visitors.  Pray also protection for the pastor’s son as he is now an age where he is in danger of being forced to join the military.
  • The orphanage children—We have 25 children this year.
  • Two girls at the orphanage— One suffers from physical weakness after a 3 day fever left her unable to walk for a week. She is improving but is in need of more strength.  The other is suffering from a painful itching skin disease for the last 2 months and has not been healed yet.

PMU Field Director (Southerland)

November 2024

Thanking God for:

  • Allowing Casey and Kelly to serve together in the Great Commission through the work of PMU.
  • His continual care and provision for our family that enables us to endure the health challenges we are facing that grow us in dependence upon Him.
  • The opportunity to have all of our family together for Thanksgiving, including our extended family from out of state.

Please pray for:

  • Kelly, as she is scheduled to have a surgery in January to remove several new tumors that were found in her recent ct scan. She will also have a second biopsy on a large lesion on her jaw that is benign but also needs to be addressed. Pray also for wisdom in finding new medications that will treat her cancer and keep it from returning.
  • Casey who will be leading a mission team from Grace BPC (OH) to Peru, where Team Timothy served in 2020. Micah will also be serving on team.
  • More regular, monthly financial supporters to stabilize Casey’s Field Director fund balance.

Thanking God for:
