Myanmar Mission
March 2025
Thanking God for:
- The two girls at the orphanage home who are now quite healthy. They are almost 100% recovered. Thanks for your prayers and financial support.
- The Pastor’s wife who is also recovering quite well. Her memory is also coming back.
- A visit from a Pastor who conducted a seminar on the Biblical Principles of Reformed Worship. We enjoyed the teaching.
Please Pray for:
- The church members as many are struggling for their daily food and provisions with the rapid rise of prices.
- The safety of the young people as they are now in more danger of being arrested and forced to join the military and are blocked from leaving the country.
- One of our church plants as they are planning to rebuild the church building which has become old and unstable.
- Peace and recovery of democracy to Myanmar and all its people.

Foothills Reformed BP Mission, OH (Waeber)
February 2025
Thanking God for:
- A smooth transition to the new worship space.
- Safety for our folks during all the bad weather we have had lately.
- Some generous donations (piano, fridge, furniture, etc.) that have helped us fill out the building.
Please Pray for:
- More visitors, now that we have a more visible presence.
- An upcoming conference we are planning for May.
- Wisdom in making decisions about how to finish out the new space.
PMU Field Director (Southerland)
February 2025
Thanking God for:
- Kelly’s successful surgery in January. Three sizable tumors were removed along with about 50 other smaller cancerous nodules. We are rejoicing in the doctor’s words that Kelly currently has no visible cancer in her body! Her jaw biopsy was performed at the same time and gave clear results that it is a benign cyst. Further treatment is still necessary, but not urgent, so we are thankful for a break.
- The love and support of our home church in Cincinnati, who support our work with PMU in a variety of ways.
- The opportunity to serve the Lord together as a family at PMU.
Please pray for:
- Kelly’s continued healing, wisdom in choosing future medications to keep her disease stable, and the right timing to begin treatment of the jaw cyst.
- Fruitfulness in Casey’s travels in 2025 for promotion and recruitment for PMU of missions and missionaries.
- New ministry partners for prayer and financial support of Casey as the Field Director.
From the PMU Office (Cincinnati, OH)
February 2025
Thanking God for:
- His gracious hand on Kelly Southerland, our Office Manager, who is recovering well from a surgery to remove cancerous nodules, and a biopsy on her jaw.
- Heather Gross, a member of Grace BPC (OH), who has volunteered to fill in for Kelly during her recovery.
- The faithful and steady work of our Bookkeeper, Tom Wright.
Please Pray for:
- Those preparing to assist PMU missionaries this summer- a SOLA intern with the Doumas, several helping the Leamans with English Camp, and one student helping in Brazil for the summer with Rev. Doug.
- God’s people to order their lives around God’s kingdom and glory and avoid the distractions and financial debt that prevent many from serving in missions.
- New missionaries to go to those who have no access to the gospel in their lands and languages.
