PMU is pleased to announce the final formation of our Team Timothy Peru roster! The team members are: Rebecca Williams, Lima, Peru (Grand Island BPC; New York); Sandy Silvashy, Cassy Emery, Josh Hayes, Jacob Estep, and Michaela Sharpshair (Grace BPC; Ohio), Danielle Blizzard (Grace BPC; Florida); Rachel McMillan (Providence BPC; Idaho) and team leaders Susan Young (Grace BPC; Florida), Rev. Casey Southerland (Grace BPC; Ohio), and Dr. Len Pine (Providence BPC; Idaho). This will be one of the largest foreign teams that we have ever fielded, and one of the most challenging from a location standpoint. We’ll be working with Peruvian pastor and church planter, Rev. Roldan Rodriguez, with whom we have worked many times as he served as a translator for our efforts in Bolivia in the past. The team will serve in Peru January 3-17, 2020, on the tributaries of the Amazon River. Their time will be divided between conducting a VBS program at two villages deep in the jungle on the banks of the Ucayali River and doing evangelistic, teaching, and music ministry in the city of Iquitos and the surrounding area. Please keep these folks in your prayers as they prepare assignments, raise funds, and get ready physically for the challenges of ministry during the rainy season in the Amazon Basin.
