I write with a thankful heart as I sit in a recently added little office which we attached to the master bedroom of the new rental we have just moved into in Aldeia. Many of you have prayed with us about this move and that we could find the right place. The Lord answered prayers and gave us a wonderfully suitable place. The fact that it is located in close proximity to the property in Aldeia is a huge benefit. Various ministry activities have already happened on the Soli Deo Gloria property this year. Just this past week we concluded the third module for pastors wanting to learn more about Biblical counseling. Our continued hope is that the church of Jesus Christ will find this a great place for training in Biblical counseling, pastoral rest, and for the strengthening of God’s people in the Northeast of Brazil. Taking dominion over the weeds, brush, and deteriorated buildings has been an addition to the workload, and I could not have done it without my family and many others who volunteered their time, resources, and talents. It would have been impossible without the God-given team spirit that made this all possible. The two oldest boys may go to college soon, and this year seems like it went by in the time of a month. All this makes us realize how quickly this life will pass; only what is done for Christ shall last. Thank you all for your involvement and prayers for us in Brazil. May the Lord continue to bless each one of you in the coming year.
