Greetings from Adams County. This year, we’re looking forward to being active in many of the local festivals again. Small towns still care about these yearly festivals quite a lot, and they almost all have one at some point. Folks tend to turn out for them more than they do in the cities or suburbs, so they’re a great way to get to know your neighbors. Last year, we had a booth at most of these local festivals, and we’ll be doing the same this year. Of course, our Presbytery’s youth camp is a big upcoming event that we’ll be participating in, and we’re also doing a joint VBS with another church in the area. While we were small enough that we didn’t feel up to hosting and running our own VBS this year, this will enable us to offer something to the kids and work with other like-minded churches in the area.
My family has been doing well, the kids are excited as they see the end of the school year approaching, and it’s rare that they don’t talk about camp when we are sitting around the dinner table. We greatly appreciate all the prayers and support that you have given us, and we hope that you will continue to do so over the summer.
Grace and peace,
The Waeber Family
