the Missions Banner, December/January 2025
In 2025, my family and the church that God has entrusted to me experienced many joyful events. In January, Covenant Bible Presbyterian Mission celebrated its 10th anniversary. In April, a brother whom I had baptized several years ago was married in Christ, and in May, our fourth child was born, bringing our family to six members. In June, God led us to move to a new home, and July and August were filled with busy summer ministries and the General Synod. In September, through our New Members Class, two families joined the church, and in October and November, I conducted home visitations with the congregation. This year, God has also graciously sent visitors to our church without ceasing. We are thankful for His gracious work of gathering His scattered people, who are without shepherds, into the Lord’s church.
As we remember the incarnation of Jesus, may this season also remind us once again that our citizenship is in God’s kingdom. The kingdom, glory, reward, and King of Christians are in heaven. In the coming year, I pray that we may live as the new man, clothed in the perfect righteousness of Jesus Christ, seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness.
I am deeply grateful to all who faithfully pray for and support us. Wherever you are, I pray that the Lord, Immanuel will be with you. Even amid complex international circumstances, may God’s peace be with you in Christ.
