PMU Field Director (Southerland)
June 2026
Thanking God for:- The active engagement of so many young people with PMU missions opportunities. May the Lord develop this heart for missions into future laborers for the gospel.
- Encouraging lab results for Kelly, indicating a good response from radiation.
- Gospel ministry opportunities with Grace BPC, Cincinnati. We had a very encouraging park ministry outing in our community, sharing the gospel with families from many different countries and religious beliefs, and also a fruitful week of VBS with many visitors.
- Continued wisdom and guidance for decisions regarding the plan to treat Kelly’s cancer. Kelly completed radiation in May and as mentioned, labs indicate good response, but the follow up CT scan is not until August to see the results. There are still medication decisions to be made as well.
- Casey as he leads both the English Camp Team to Brazil and Team Timothy to Unionville, NY this summer. Pray for physical endurance with all of the travel and more importantly, that the gospel would go forth and be effective in the hearts of those who hear it.

- Providing the congregation the ability to worship the Lord together in my absence.
Please Pray for:
- God’s protection and blessing over the church in my absence.
- My family to remain healthy for the remainder of our time in Korea.
- Us to be able to share the gospel of Christ with everyone we meet and manifest the glory of God.
Myanmar Mission
May 2026
Thanking God for:
- The growth of the church. By God’s providence, we now have a total of seven church plants.
- A very blessed and fruitful fellowship meeting at one of the church plants in Central Myanmar. About 150 BP church members gathered together. We all shared the same conviction that the meeting was both necessary and beneficial for everyone.
- The good news we received when the final examination results for the orphanage home children were released. All of the children passed their exams. We are thankful for God’s blessings and faithfulness.
Please Pray for:
- The children at the orphanage home as they begin the new academic year (2026-2027). Pray for their spiritual growth, physical health, education, and financial provision, that they may remain safe and well cared for.
- Our BP church members, as many are facing great challenges in daily life.
- Myanmar, for protection for displaced individuals, an end to armed conflict, the restoration of peace, and strength for believers who continue to face persecution and hardship.

Short-Term Missions
June 2025
Thanking God for:
- The safe arrival of William Przybyl, SOLA intern, and the good start to the internship already. William will be working alongside the Doumas through July 18th.
- Providing all the funds needed for the entire Soli Deo Gloria English Camp Team.
- The collaboration with BP churches and individuals to support PMU’s short-term endeavors through financial giving and prayer.
Please Pray for:
- The SOLA Internship to be a positive experience that is beneficial for William, and an encouragement to the Douma family as well as they work together to minister to hikers this summer.
- The pastors, team leaders, and English Camp team members as they each prepare for upcoming teaching opportunities, workshops, and every-day interactions with Brazilian students. That the gospel would go forth clearly and make an impact.
- The Holy Spirit’s work in the hearts of both hikers in America and campers in Brazil to be open to the gospel message that is shared with them.
