PMU Field Director (Southerland)
January 2026
Thanking God for:
- A very good report from Kelly’s oncologist/surgeon. She found very minimal disease during surgery and believes the medications she has been on are working. Kelly is recovering remarkably well and is feeling much better than expected.
- The tremendous support our family received from our PMU family and our church family, Grace BPC (OH).
- Several opportunities scheduled this Spring for Casey to share the work of PMU and plans for the future.
- Progress being made to Casey’s monthly financial support need as he moves to full-time beginning January 2027.
Please pray for:
- Kelly’s continued healing and recovery and that her lab results would show good success from the surgery.
- New and increased financial support to make up the remaining $1900/month needed for Casey’s Field Director support.
- Many good conversations as Casey travels, that some would become engaged in missions support and some would begin stepping toward serving as long-term missionaries.

Myanmar Mission
January 2026
Thanking God for:
- A blessed Christmas Service with about 200 people—both believers and non-believers—gathering together. I had the privilege of sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ at the service.
- A Women’s Training Seminar – On December 6, I conducted a one-day seminar for the women in the church on the topic “Christian Life as a Spiritual Tree.” It was truly a blessed and memorable day, and the women were deeply encouraged.
- Church Growth in two of our church plants. They are both growing well—not only in numbers, but also in spiritual maturity.
Please Pray for:
- The Difficult Situation in Myanmar – Please continue to pray for the people of Myanmar, especially our brothers and sisters in the church community. Life is becoming increasingly difficult due to security concerns, economic hardship, rising living expenses, and soaring prices.
- The Ongoing Election in Myanmar – The first phase of the elections has concluded, but two more phases will take place in January. This has created growing tension, as many question the legitimacy of the process. Please pray for peace, wisdom, and God’s sovereign intervention over our nation.

From the PMU Office (Cincinnati, OH)
December 2025
Thanking God for:
- Rev. John Dyck, PMU Council Member and Secretary, who recently celebrated 35 years of pastoral ministry at Edmonton BPC.
- The prayerful and financial support of our church partners supporting the work of our missionaries and office support staff.
- Invitations to churches to share the work of PMU and our vision for future ministry among the Unreached.
Please Pray for:
- The Lord to open a door to establish new mission works where the gospel is needed.
- A good transition for Grace BPC and PMU as Pastor Casey moves to full-time as PMU’s Field Director.
- PMU, that we’ll be faithful, energetic and successful in our support of churches and missionaries in the work of the Great Commission.
Short-Term Missions
June 2025
Thanking God for:
- The safe arrival of William Przybyl, SOLA intern, and the good start to the internship already. William will be working alongside the Doumas through July 18th.
- Providing all the funds needed for the entire Soli Deo Gloria English Camp Team.
- The collaboration with BP churches and individuals to support PMU’s short-term endeavors through financial giving and prayer.
Please Pray for:
- The SOLA Internship to be a positive experience that is beneficial for William, and an encouragement to the Douma family as well as they work together to minister to hikers this summer.
- The pastors, team leaders, and English Camp team members as they each prepare for upcoming teaching opportunities, workshops, and every-day interactions with Brazilian students. That the gospel would go forth clearly and make an impact.
- The Holy Spirit’s work in the hearts of both hikers in America and campers in Brazil to be open to the gospel message that is shared with them.
